You can share your views by completing the feedback form on this consultation website. Comments received during this stage will be reviewed by the project team. Where appropriate, feedback may help identify issues that need further explanation or refinement before the application is considered.
The proposals are expected to be submitted to the local planning authority as part of a detailed planning application for this phase. The council will then check the application and carry out its own formal consultation. Residents and other interested parties will be able to submit comments directly to the council during that process.
Planning officers will assess the application against the outline planning permission, the approved Design Code, relevant planning policy, technical documents and consultation responses. The application will then be decided by the council, either by planning committee or under delegated powers.
If the application is approved, further details may still need to be agreed before construction can begin. These could include technical matters such as drainage, construction management, landscaping and other planning conditions.
Construction would then take place in phases, with roads, utilities, homes and landscaping delivered in sequence. Updates will be added to this website as the project progresses.
