Plans and supporting information for Boyd Park.

A number of documents and plans will help explain the proposals for this phase of Boyd Park. These will be made available as the application progresses.

The proposed layout plan will show where homes, streets, parking areas, open spaces and key buildings would be located.

The landscape plans will show proposed trees, hedges, planting, lawns and other green spaces. They will also help explain how this phase connects with nearby open space, including Kilbarron Park and the Lika Brook corridor.

The Design Code Compliance Statement will explain how the proposals respond to the approved Design Code for the wider Boyd Park development. This includes matters such as street layout, building heights, parking, landscape character and the treatment of key edges and gateway locations.

The Affordable Housing Statement will explain the proposed affordable housing mix, including rented and shared ownership homes, as well as where these homes would be located.

Other technical documents would normally cover transport, drainage, ecology, biodiversity, construction and planning policy. Some of these reports are not yet included in the material provided, so any conclusions on traffic, flood risk, biodiversity or construction impacts should be checked against the formal application documents when they are available.

Together, these documents are intended to help residents understand what is proposed, how the scheme has been designed and what issues the council will consider when assessing the application.
